Corey Crawford

Drafted by Chicago Blackhawks round 2 #52 overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft

This is first full year with the Hawks he has played games since 2007 but have been back and fourth between the Blackhawks and their minor league team the Rockford IceHogs. The surprise of the year is what I would have to call Crawford.

The Blackhawks signed goaltender Marty Turco over the summer to take the starting position after the Hawks let go Antti Niemi.
Corey Crawford has been waiting awhile after losing the Blackhawks back up job to Antti Niemi in 2009 which Niemi later beat out Cristobal Huet for the starting spot.
