I don't know much about Oleg Kvasha. I looked him up and found some info on his hockey career.
Kvasha was drafted in the third round, 65th overall, by the Florida Panthers in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. On June 24, 2000, he was dealt by the Panthers to the New York Islanders with winger Mark Parrish for goaltender Roberto Luongo and center Olli Jokinen. After playing with the Islanders for five seasons, Kvasha was traded along with a conditional fifth round draft pick to the Phoenix Coyotes for a third round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft on March 9, 2006.
Part of the 2000 controversial trade that sent star goaltender Roberto Luongo to the FLorida Panthers. Something the Islanders should never had done because he had a really good career with the Florida Panthers and then Luongo was sent to the Vancouver Canucks were he is have an amazing career. Roberto could be a Hall of Famer after he retires.
