Kyle Calder

Drafted by Chicago Blackhawks round 5 #130 overall in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft

Calder began his career by playing junior hockey for the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL). After scoring 59 points in his sophomore season, he was drafted in the fifth round of the 1997 draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. After his fourth season where he scored 88 points between two teams, he was rewarded with his first professional contract.

On August 2, 2006, Calder was awarded a $2.9 million dollar contract for the 2006–07 season by an arbitrator. The Blackhawks decided to accept it,[1] and then on August 4, 2006, Calder was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Michal Handzus.[2] At the trade deadline, the Flyers sent him back to Chicago for a third-round draft pick and Lasse Kukkonen. Chicago immediately sent him to the Detroit Red Wings for Jason Williams.[3] Calder scored his first goal as a Red Wing during his first shift.[4] He signed a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Kings on July 2, 2007.

I got this signed by Kyle Calder a few years ago when he still was on the Chicago Blackhawks.

IP: Matthew Barnaby

I got this card signed at Dave & Buster's Blackhawks party back in 2005 when Barnaby was on the Blackhawks. It's cool because it's a signed jersey card.

Matthew Barnaby was Drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 1992.

He is now a hockey analysis for ESPN.

IP: Brent Sopel

I got this card signed by Brent Sopel at last years Chicago Auto show. He was at the Blackhawks are signing autographs and taking pictures with people.

Brent Sopel was part of Last Years Stanley Cup champion Blackhawk team. In the summer he was traded to the Atlanta Thrashers for a draft pick. Due to the Salary cap in hockey the Blackhawks had to lose a few players to other teams and Sopel was one of them.

Dan Ellis

I bought this card at Target last year. As you can see on the back has it certified as a real autograph on a stick on front of the card.

Dan Ellis had a saw little action last year backing up Pekka Rinne on the Nashville Predators. In the summer the Predators decided to let Ellis go as a Free agent so then the Tampa Bay Lighting picked him up to switch of with current Lightning goalie Mike Smith

Taylor Hall

This card isn't signed but it's a custom card that I made in Photoshop.

Taylor Hall was selected by the Edmonton Oilers as the First Overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft. Hall had a very successful career in the OHL with the Windsor Spitfires winning the Memorial Cup in two consecutive years in 2008-2009,2009-2010 seasons and he was the MVP both times. In 16 games with the Oilers so far Hall has tallied 3 goals and 4 assists. Hall signed his contral with the Oilers on July 5th, 2010 for 1 year worth $900,000.

Jaroslav Halak

Bought this card at a Card store of the Summer. It has a nice autograph and a 3 colored jersey that was used in a Photoshoot.
Numbered: 026/299

Jaroslav Halak was one of the Stars of the NHL Playoffs last year taking over Carey Price as the Montreal Canadiens starting goaltender and he helped defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals. The Canadiens were later defeated by the Philadelphia Flyers. Over the Summer Halak became a free agent and was signed by the St. Louis Blues.

CPSC-100: Blogging homework

I have to do a blogging assignment for my computer class at Muskingum University. I will be posting cards I have already because I have to turn this in before the semester ends. During Winter break I will be writing some letters to players and then when I go back home during spring break I will post all the mail signatures.

This are my actual cards that I have scanned on my scanner. Their not pictures from the internet.

I got this card signed a few years a go when Robert Lang was on the Blackhawks. I got it signed at a event that the Chicago Blackhawks had a Dave & Buster's
