Upper Deck the Cup vs. Panini Dominion

This is the showdown of the Ultimate Hockey boxes both are very high exquisite top of the line hockey boxes. I have yet to open any of these boxes because they aren't cheap. But I Love the fact that most of these are on card Auto's and Not Stick Graphs so that the players actual saw and touched the cards.

Cristobal Huet

This is another photo that I got at the Blackhawks Training camp yesterday but this came for $8. I was shocked this is an awesome photo from the 2009 Winter classic at Wrigley Field. It from the players entrance before the games starts with all the fireworks and the smoke is just a cool illusion make a sweet entrance.

Huet was on the Hawks 2010 Stanley Cup team as a backup to Antti Niemi. Now he's in Europe still getting paid by Stan Bowman but it doesn't go against our salary cap so that's nice.

Nikolai Khabibulin

I bought this photo yesterday at the Chicago Blackhawks Training camp it was only a cheap $10 so I thought it was a good deal. Nikolai was one of the hawks star goalies from 2006-2009. He is also a Stanley Cup Champion from the 2004 Tampa Bay Lightning.

He's not in his prime now and really hasn't been since he was traded from the Hawks plus getting his drunk driving incident in Arizona ending him up and Jail for 15 days and hose arrest for 15 days.

I also like the photo because it is a photo file official picture with the NHL Hologram

Dominik Hasek/ Marian Hossa

I got this card on Ebay for $5 and It was a steal considering it has a future Hall of famer (Hasek) and Chicago Blackhawks Star Marian Hossa. Considering now they were both Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings

Roberto Luongo

Drafted by New York Islanders round 1 #4 overall 1997 NHL Entry Draft

A wasted trade by the Islanders and then just when he was getting good with Florida they traded him for Todd Bertuzzi one of the gooniest players in the leaugue.

This is one of my favorite cards. Lot of Chicagoan hate Luongo but me being a goalie I like him a lot until he made remarks about Tim Thomas for stopping pucks and then later losing in the Finals.

Marc-Andre Fleury

Chris Osgood

Tukka Rask

Johan Franzen

Drafted by Detroit Red Wings round 3 #97 overall 2004 NHL Entry Draft

Franzen is one of Detroit's top scores. I wouldn't say that he has sick moves like Datsyuk and not as highly rated like Zetterberg but he is a good scorer.

Mismatched Goalies

I want to post some pictures/cards of goalies who had just been traded away to new teams and they still have their equipment from the old team when the card was made.

1. Ron Hextall: Traded from the Islanders to the Flyers. He is pictured with his Islanders gear on a Flyers jersey and a blank mask

2. Martin Biron: Traded from Buffalo to Philidelphia. He is pictured with his Sabres pads with a Flyers mask.

3.Kevin Hodson: Traded from Detroit to Tampa: Pictured wearing Red Wings pads and Lightning mask

4. Mike Smith: Traded from Dallas to Tampa. Pictured in Dallas Pads with Stars mask

5.Dwayne Roloson He was traded from the NY Islanders to Tampa Bay. Wearing Islanders mask and pads.

6. Jeff Hackett: Traded from Montreal to Boston. Pictured with Canadiens pads and mask.

Joe Pavelski

Drafted by San Jose

I like this card a lot because Joe Pavelski went to Wisconsin.

He had a breakout year in the 2009-10 Playoffs recording 9 goals

This is the 3rd Autograph card I pulled from the SP Authentic box. Again I like the idea of players signing on the cards because they actually touched the card and it can be messed up like sticker graphs can.

Justin Mercier

Drafted by The Colorado Avalnche in the 2005 Draft going #168 overall in the sixth round

This is the second autograph I got form the box of 2010-2011 SP Authentic Hockey

This is a cool on the card auto and he even included his jersey number 43

David Kohn

Drafted by the Islanders

I don't have much info on him. I like that the autograph is on the card and not a sticker graph.

I pulled this from a box of 2010-2011 SP Authentic

Pavel Datsyuk

I wanted to start showing of some of my favorite cards and rookie cards. So I will forst start with one of my favorites.

Pavel Datsyuk one of the best dangler/dekers in the NHL.

It is in pretty good condition and I have not seen many/ any at all of these cards even though there are 100 of them.
