TTM: Leland Irving

Sent:3/14/12 (To Abbotsford Heat)

Drafted by Calgary Flames #26 overall 2006 NHL Entry Draft

Irving has been backing up Miikka Kiprusoff this year when Henrik Karlsson went down with an ACL tear. But being a 26 overall pick I would think that he would have been up in the NHL by now as some would consider him a bust.

This bring the 2007-08 Between the pipes set to 32/60

IP: Murray Bannerman

Drafted by Vancouver Canucks round 4 #58 overall 1977 NHL Amateur Draft

BAAAAAAANNNERMANN, as Pat Foley would say was more famous for the original artwork on his mask but most of his Blackhawks career was behind the great Tony Esposito before he has a short stint of starting.

I got this signed during the intermission of Sunday's Blackhawks Predators game where it was Ed Belfour Heritage Night. Bannerman has a nice auto if the ink didn't give out in the beginning and to make the night perfect getting Befour's auto would be sick and it would help if the Hawks won or came close to tie or lose by 1 not Lose by a score of 6-1.

But this is for you classy Hawks fans that need to her Pat Foley a few more times.

TTM: Johan Hedberg

card 1: Upper Deck Ice (Being a clear see through card that autographs are cool with this design.)
card 2: Panini All Goalies
card 3: Sign of the Time(Bought at LCS)

Drafted by Philadelphia Flyers 9th round (218 overall) 1994 NHL Entry Draft

Nicked named the "Moose", Hedberg has been around the league and still looks like he has a few more years left. This year he is behind one of the league's greatest goalies Martin Brodeur.

Thanks, to JonWayne's Autographs for this address. I recommend him for good autos and ttm's

TTM: Torrie Jung

Jung is still a young prospect but has playing well lately for the Laredo Bucks and has suited up for the Edmonton Oilers a season ago.

Tommy Sodstrom

I bought this at a card store in Toronto, Ontario, Canada over Spring Break which was fun but to come home and found No MAIL for Me. So the 2 Month Streak is Officially Over. :(. Hopefully this streak will start again next week.

But back to Sodstrom, so I was a fan of this swedish netminder in the 90's. He was innovative with his giant cage mask and he never taped his stick.

Spring Break in Toronto

So I was in Toronto this week for Spring Break and I bought some cards. I am in Indiana now and will get back home tomorrow and will be posting the signed cards I bought and all the cards that have come in the mail over the week. Depending if I got any but with the 2 month streak of getting at least a card a week in the mail.

Well, I had fun doing some gambling in Windsor since I am 20 years old it's legal and I had a fun time visiting the Hockey Hall of Fame. Where they had the real Stanley Cup, It was awesome.

Autographs Collectors: Keeping post offices open

In this new day and age of technology are people are emailing each other online or communicating by Facebook and other Social Networks. People aren't communicating by mail anymore mostly because it takes longer to get a response than what the speed of the internet does and it costs money to send out mail with stamps that always seem to raise in price just like gas these days.

But for autograph collectors sending cards and photos in the mail is a lot cheaper than paying for autographs unless you can catch some of the athletes either before or after games and practices. I even get a kick out of going to the mail in the morning hoping for an envelope with my name on it with a signed card inside. Since a lot of today's mail seems to be junk for company's to advertise and maybe some readable magazines like Sports Illustrated

I'll be fine as lone as I don't get Newman for a mailman
