TTM: Wendel Clark

Drafted by Toronto Maple Leafs 1st round  (#1 overall) 1985 NHL Entry Draft

A semi good return from yesterday, from former Maple Leaf to a restaurant business owner.

Though being a 1st overall draft pick I didn't really consider him being one, but still has played better than Patrik Stefan. Clark played for many teams but is mainly known for his stops in Toronto from 1985-1994, 1995-1998 after a stop in Quebec and New York, and finishing his career in the 1999-2000 season, after stops in Tampa, Detroit, and Chicago). Though he may be known for a bit of a fighter after throwing down with big guys like Bob Probert, Marty McSorley and other former Blackhawk Mike Peluso.

Some cool unknown facts about Mr. Clark is that hockey blood runs through in his family. He is first cousins with ESPN commentator Barry Melrose, and also cousins with former Red Wing Joey Kocur.

My Fleer Greats set is now at 41 out of 89 signed. Signed in BLACK Sharpie even though it looks like he went over his first signature or just started with  a fading Sharpie

Thanks, to this Blog (http://sortingbyteams.wordpress.com/)

I have found proof of Clark donning the Indian Sweater. (I am going to have to hunt this card down)
