Sent: 10/12/13

Returned: 10/26/13 (4/4 cards signed)

Drafted By Boston Bruins 3rd round (52nd overall) 1985 NHL Entry Draft

Bill Ranford was a guy who had a pretty successful career in the National Hockey League of 18 years and most of them with Oilers where he won a Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe in 1990. The Con Smythe fact is shocking when that Oiler team had the likes of Mark Messier and Jari Kurri. But Ranford played for teams such as the Bruins (Twice), Capitals, Lightning, and Detroit Red Wings before finishing his career back in Edmonton. Now Ranford now works for the LA Kings as a their
Goaltending Coach.

Little known fact about Ranford is that he played Jim Craig for the Hockey scenes of the Movie "Miracle"
